The Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears won the championship at the Fosston Holiday Tournament with a 72-68 win over the Fosston Greyhounds. The Bears took the lead for good at 63-62 with 2:58 left in the game. The Bears trailed 62-57 but went on a 12-0 run to help secure the win. Braxton Bjerke led the Bears with 18 points as they improve to 2-0 overall. Grant Engen and Hassani Bruton each scored 16 points for Clearbrook-Gonvick. Will Christen led Fosston with 20 points and 10 rebounds as they fall to 2-1 overall. Kelton Gray and Dawson Bailie each scored 11 points for the Greyhounds. The game featured nine ties and the score was tied at 32-32 at halftime. The Greyhounds turned the ball over 22 times compared to 14 turnovers for the Bears.
