On Parent’s & Senior Night, the PRB Tigers came out running and blew out the Bears of Clearbrook-Gonvick 77-27.

The Tigers started on an 11-0 run and never looked back as they piled up 54 points and lead 54-13 at the break. Their pressure defense forced 23 first half turnovers from the Bears in which they were able to turn into quick offense.

PRB’s control stayed throughout the second half as the Tigers snapped a five-game losing streak with the victory and claimed their third straight win over the Bears.

Allison Lavine and Joely Olson combined for 22 of the 27 C-G points. Four scored in double figures for the Tigers, with Mimi Bueckers’ 16 leading the way. Sawyer Tulenchik added 15 along with 8 steals and four assists. Ella Brewer also scored 15, and Caylei Johnson tallied 11 along with four steals.

The Tigers improve to 14-11 overall and 7-5 in Northwoods conference play, wrapping up their regular season vs. Red Lake. Clearbrook-Gonvick falls to 7-17 (5-8 Northwoods).
