Red Lake Falls at Clearbrook-Gonvick

Clearbrook, MN — The Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears improve to 4-6 on the season with their 78-57 win over the Red Lake Falls Eagles on Thursday night.

The first half was a game of runs and made all the difference in the final score. Clearbrook-Gonvick would score the first nine points of the game to take the early lead. Red Lake Falls would get the deficit to an 8 point game at 18-10 and the Eagles made their first run of the game at 10-2 and would be locked in a dead tie 20-20 but that is the closest Red Lake Falls would be to taking a lead all night as the Bears would close out the first half on a 16-2 run and take a 36-22 lead into the locker room and the second half deficit would never be in question as Clearbrook-Gonvick would use another 10-1 run to balloon their advantage to more then 20 points and run away with the 78-57 win.

With the win Clearbrook-Gonvick improves to 4-6 on the season and will host Kelliher/Northome on Friday night. Red Lake Falls falls to 0-9 and will continue to search for their first win of the season on Friday night when they host the Bagley Flyers.
