Clearbrook-Gonvick vs. Stephen-Argyle

Anders Thompson scored 26 points as the Stephen-Argyle Storm advanced to Section 8A semifinals with a 75-56 win over the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears in Thief River Falls. Caden Pagnac contributed a double double for the Storm with 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Storm won their 14th straight game and improve to 23-6 overall. Trey Goudge led the Bears with 17 points and Grant Engen added 15 points for the Bears as they end their season at 8-19 overall. The Storm led 27-22 at halftime but went on an 11-4 run to start the second half and never looked back. It was the second win for the Storm over the Bears (83-49 on January 30th at Clearbrook-Gonvick). The Storm will face Fertile-Beltrami in the semifinals (Wednesday, March 11th at 7:30 pm on 96.7 FM, Your Live Event and Garden Valley TV).The Storm defeated the Falcons 52-38 on December 16th at Stephen-Argyle.
