Climax-Fisher at Ada-Borup-West
Recap
The Ada-Borup-West Cougars improved their record above .500 with their second win of the week, this one a 75-47 victory over the Climax-Fisher Knights. After a tepid start the Cougars transition game helped energize the team after a three-point play on an Anders Tinjum dunk the Cougars energy level went up, as did the defensive intensity to force turnovers and gain opportunities for transition scores. The Cougar game plan continued after halftime pushing the lead to 28-points after Brody Menge’s put-back dunk made it 63-35 with nine minutes remaining before both teams used their entire bench the remainder of the contest. With the win the Cougars are now 5-4 and will host Park Christian on Tuesday. Climax-Fisher falls to 3-6 overall and will host Bagley on Monday.
The Cougars won the JV game 57-14.
