GBB Climax-Fisher at Fosston

Teagan Duppong converted a three point play with 2:10 remining in the game to break a 45-45 tie and the Fosston Greyhounds went on to win a hard fought game against Climax/Fisher 54-49. Duppong ended with 12 points in the game as Fosston improved to 10-4 overall and 7-1 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Lexi Mahlen led Fosston with 21 points and 16 rebounds while Brielle Duppong and Miley Hove each scored 6 points for the Greyhounds. Lucy Paulsrud scored 17 points and Kinley Korynta 15 points for the Knights as they fall to 3-11 overall and 2-6 in the conference. Fosston led 28-26 at halftime and trailed by as many as four points at 39-35 in the second half. Fosston turned the ball over 21 times while the Knights had 15 turnovers in the game. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 27-18 (one half). Fosston will return to action on Friday, January 24th when they host the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons (96.7 FM). The Knights will play their next game on Monday, January 27th when they travel to the Northern Freeze.
