Kittson County Central jumped out to an 8-1 lead and never looked back as they advanced to the Section 8A semifinals with the 79-45 win over Climax/Fisher. Morgan Turn led the Bearcats with 18 points as they improve to 23-4 overall. Greta Kuznia came off the bench and added 14 points for Kittson County Central. Peyton Hoffman led Climax/Fisher with 25 points and 14 rebounds as the Knights end their season at 15-13. The Bearcats shot 20 of 24 at the free throw line and will now face East Grand Forks Sacred Heart on Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the semifinals. Sacred Heart advanced with a 61-52 win over Warren-Alvarado-Oslo. Ten players entered the scoring column for the Bearcats.
