Climax-Fisher won its seventh consecutive game Friday, defeating Crookston in a three set sweep, 25-6, 25-18 and 25-9.

For the second straight game, the Knights served 12 aces—led by 8 from Peyton Hoffman and 3 by Kinley Korynta.  Peyton Hoffman also had 9 kills, with Brooklyn Hoffman adding 8 kills and 2.5 blocks.

Crookston lost its seventh in a row and dropped to 1-14 on the season.  Jayde Uttermark had 5 kills to lead the Pirates.

In unofficial team stats, Climax-Fisher had 36 kills, 5 blocks, 12 aces and 7 service errors.

Crookston had 12 kills, one block, one ace and one service error.

Climax-Fisher won the JV game 2-0, 25-19 and 25-12.

Climax-Fisher’s next game is Tuesday at Mahnomen/Waubun, while Crookston plays at Win-E-Mac on Monday.
