Crookston at Mahnomen/Waubun

Recap

The Crookston Pirates picked up a road win 48-46 over Mahnomen Waubun in girls basketball.  The Pirates controlled the rebounds which was big in a game where both teams struggled to score and also struggled with turnovers.  Mahnomen Waubun was able to battle and keep the game close all night, and even tied the game twice towards the end, but could never get the one shot to fall to take the lead.  The Pirates are now 3-6 while Mahnomen Waubun falls to 2-8.
