CASSELTON, ND – Devils Lake picked up a 28-21 win over #3 Central Cass in North Dakota Division AA football on Friday night.
Devils Lake quarterback Mason Palmer went 18-27 for 224 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception as the Firebirds improved to 1-1 on the season.
Brody Kegley went 24-42 for 250 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the loss for Central Cass. The Squirrels dropped to 1-1 on the year and will head to Jamestown for their next game.
Devils Lake will host Wahpeton for their home-opener.
