BISMARCK, ND – Devils Lake shot 63.6% from the floor in the first half and defeated Des Lacs-Burlington 73-49 in the North Dakota State A Boys Basketball Tournament on Thursday afternoon.

The Firebirds are heading to the state semifinals for the second straight year and will play Shiloh Christian or Wahpeton on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Parker Brodina (19 points), Joel Nelson (19 points) and Parker Brodina (18 points) combined to score 56 points on 21-of-32 shooting from the floor with 7 three-pointers for Devils Lake.

Colton Feller paced the Lakers with 29 points and 4 three-pointers. Des Lacs-Burlington will play in the consolation semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m. from the Bismarck Events Center.
