FBB Thompson 63, Devils Lake 53

Addison Sage scored 27 points and Thompson converted 13 of 18 fourth quarter free throws as the Tommies defeated Devils Lake 63-53 Friday night in Thompson.

Except for an early 4-2 deficit, Thompson led the entire game.  They led 42-31 in the third quarter, but Devils Lake finished the quarter on a 7-0 run to cut their deficit to 42-38.  Thompson extended their lead back to 11 and held on for their fifth consecutive victory.

Andie Schwab added 11 points for Thompson (8-2).  Tylie Brodina had 20 points and Presley Brown 11 for Devils Lake (5-4) as the Firebirds’ three game winning streak ended.

Both teams return to action on Tuesday; Thompson hosts Grafton, while Devils Lake goes to Harvey/Wells County.
