Ada-Borup-West bounced back from a loss last Thursday with a complete game effort to end Dilworth-GLyndon-Felton’s seven game win streak, 62-59 Monday night.   The Cougars led the entire game—  two ties,  31-31 in the first half and 45-45 in the second half.  The Cougars  held their largest lead of twelve points in the first half and a ten point lead in the second half.  Each time the Cougars built a lead, the Rebels increased the defensive effort and converted with made field goals.  Each time the Cougars found an answers with making key shots and free throws.   Ada-Borup-West led 60-55 with 1:48 remaining.  The Cougars final three points were free throws including two by Morgan Smart ( 8 of 8 in the game) with :13 remaining.  DGF made 1 of 2 free throws with 3.5 seconds remaining.  After the miss and the ball going out of bounds, DGF had another final shot from beyond the 3-point arc that fell short as they slip to 10-14.  Ada-Borup-West improves to 15-5.
