Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 52 Mahnomen/Waubun 45

The DGF Rebels built a double figure lead in the 1st half and then had to hold off several runs by the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds to come away with the 52-45 win.  The Rebels made timely shots through out the night while Mahnomen Waubun had costly turnovers at crucial points in the game.  The Thunderbirds where able to use free throws in the 1st half to stay within striking distance trailing at the half 25-19 despite being down by as amny as 12 in the 1st half.  In the 2nd half the Rebels hit a quick basket to go up by 8 only to see the Thunderbirds catch fire from beyond the arc to tie the game at 37.  The Rebels would make some big shots of their own and the Thunderbirds would suffer some costly key turnovers down the stretch and the REbels would make free throws to hold on for the win.  The Rebels are now 6-8 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 7-8.
