VALLEY CITY, ND – Hankinson is heading to their third straight District 1 championship with a 73-67 win over Sargent County on Monday night.

RaeShaun Earl finished with 34 points while Gunnar Illg added 18 points and 10 rebonds for Hankinson. The Pirates have a District 1 championship rematch with the Oakes Tornadoes on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Oakes beat Hankinson for the District title last year.

Jace Fyre paced Sargent County with 20 points and 5 rebounds as the Bulldogs head to a region qualifier on Tuesday against Barnes County North at 6 p.m. You can watch both games on yourliveevent.com.
