Sophomore Chase Lindgren scored 36 points as East Grand Forks won at Fosston 77-58. The Greyhounds trailed by as many as 17 in the first half but cut the deficit down to two at halftime at 32-30. The Greyhounds turned the ball over on five of their first six possessions in the second half and the Green Wave scored 12 points off of those turnovers. Austin Rusling added 18 points for East Grand Forks as the Green Wave snapped a four game losing streak and improve to 5-7 overall. Hudson Boushee led Fosston with 26 points as the Greyhounds had their three game winning streak come to an end and fall to 6-7 overall. The Greyhounds turned the ball over 23 times compared to 11 turnovers for East Grand Forks. The Green Wave won the “B” Squad game over Fosston 45-27. The Greyhounds will return to action on Friday when they play at Fertile-Beltrami (96.7 FM). The Green Wave will play their next game on Saturday when they travel to Wadena-Deer Creek.
