Then in the bottom of the fifth, Sacred Heart scored 4 runs to end the game. Megan Weiss singled in a run; then Pulkrabek tripled to score Weiss. Modeen had an rbi single to make the score 10-1. A walk, a hit batter, and another walk forced in another run to give the Eagles a 10 run lead and end the game.
Modeen, like Pulkrabek, went 3 for 4 with 2 rbi for Sacred Heart (9-3), who have now won 9 in a row.
