East Grand Forks vs Ada-Borup-West

The East Grand Forks Green Wave pulled away in the second half for their eighth straight win after defeating the Ada-Borup-West Cougars 93-71. The Green Wave would lead for the entire first half, going ahead by as many as nine points. The Cougars were able to keep pace as they worked the ball into the paint for close range shots and got back within one point before the Green Wave again stretched the lead out for a 42-35 halftime margin. The Cougars quickly closed the gap after halftime and took a 45-44 lead. After a few minutes of back and forth play the Green Wave were able to take advantage of turnovers for transition points surged ahead for a 12 point lead. EGF’s Carson McDonald helped iced the game after late back-to-back-to-back three pointers but them ahead 89-65 on their way to the victory. East Grand Forks wins the JV Game (53-33) and C-Team Game (47-38) and will close out their regular season next Friday night by hosting Barnesville. Ada-Borup-West drops their fifth straight game and will end the regular season next Friday night at Rothsay.
