Pequot Lakes football clinched their third straight appearance in the Section 7AAA Championship Game with a blowout victory over Esko 47-6. The Patriots outmatched the two-time defending section champions for the second time in the 2024 season, out gaining Esko 378-74.

Kamrin Hulke had three rushes, all going for touchdowns of 8, 50 and 3 yards. John Paul Elsenpeter ran for 146 yards and two scores, Blake Spiczka hit Ethan Arellano for a 37 yard touchdown on a reverse pass, and Jobey Twedt finished off the scoring for the Patriots.

Pequot Lakes dominated in every way with a 41-0 halftime lead.

Pequot Lakes will take on Two Harbors, who defeated Pierz 21-20 in the other semifinal, Halloween Night in Duluth. Pequot Lakes defeated Two Harbors 35-14 in week 3. Kickoff is set for 7pm on KLKS Talk 100.1 & rjbroadcasting.com.
