FARGO, ND – Fargo South and Shanley combined for 1,047 yards of offense as the Deacons beat the Bruins 66-45 on Friday night for high school football.

Shanley sophomore Corban Youngmark rushed for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Deacons improved to 1-1 on the season. Shanley hosts Minot for their home opener on Friday, September 6th in rematch of the 3A Dakota Bowl championship from last season.

Junior wide receiver Amari Taylor had 9 receptions for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns for Fargo South. The Bruins host Dickinson for their next game on September 6th. South has lost 4 straight against Shanley dating back to 2019.
