Fargo South at Fargo North

Fargo North improved to 5-0 on the season with a 28-27 win over Fargo South on Friday night.

Spartans running back Peder Haugo had rushing touchdowns of 60, 62 and 65 yards, rushing for a total of 270 yards in the game.

After a Duwayne Mitchell 11-yard touchdown with 1:05 left to play in the game, Fargo South elected to go for the two-point conversion. North linebacker Sam Fritel batted down the pass intended for Bruins tight end Reis Kessel. Mitchell had 6 receptions for 119 yards and 2 touchdown for the Bruins.

North heads to Grand Forks Red River for their next contest while South (3-2 overall) plays at Fargo Davies.
