VB Fertile-Beltrami 1 at Ada-Borup-West 3 (25-18, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19)

It was a matchup of the top two seeds in the 8A East Subsection standings on the first day of October, and Ada Borup West overcame a third set loss, defeating Fertile Beltrami 3-1, to improve to 16-3 on the season.  Both the first two sets saw Ada Borup West pass the ball well and they were able to execute their offense, all the while, Fertile Beltrami kept improving, eventually taking set three, only to see the Cougars pull away mid way through the fourth set to earn victory during homecoming week.
