Ada-Borup-West 3 Fertile-Beltrami 2 (24-26, 25-13, 22-25, 25-11,15-8)

In what was expected to be a competitive match, the Fertile Beltrami Falcons and Ada Borup West Cougars played in front of a great, energetic crowd, that would get their moneys worth.  The first set needed extra points as the Falcons earned a 26-24 victory.  Set two saw Ada Borup West start hot and never trail, winning 25-13.  Set three saw 12 ties and the Falcons closed it out with a 25-22 victory.  Set four the Cougars broke a 9-9 tie and would run away 25-11 to send the match into set five.  Fertile Beltrami jumped out 4-0 in the final set, but then Matti Stene went on an 8-0 run from the service line, and the Cougars would outlast the Falcons and advance to the Section Semifinals on Tuesday night.
