Clearbrook, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons defeated the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears 54-0 Wednesday night to end their regular season undefeated at 8-0.

The first quarter was tightly contested between the Falcons and Bears. Clearbrook-Gonvick took the opening possession all the way down to the Fertile-Beltrami 1 yard line on a 68 yard pass from Grant Engen to Braxton Bjerke. The Fertile-Beltrami defense would tighten up and keep the Bears out of the end zone. Once the offense was able to get started for the Falcons, Running Back Jonah Harstad broke the seal with a 50 yard rushing touchdown to make it 8-0 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, Falcons Running Back Isaiah Wright would find the endzone on three separate occasions. Once from 24 yards and twice from 40 yards. Fertile-Beltrami would lead 32-0 at halftime. Fertile-Beltrami would score three more times in the second half, Jonah Harstad from 11 yards, Briley Raaen from 18 yards and Julian Ysteness from 6 yards as Fertile-Beltrami would win 54-0.

Fertile-Beltrami has now gone undefeated, 8-0, for their fourth consecutive season. Clearbrook-Gonvick ends their regular season at 2-6.
