Fertile-Beltrami at Mahnomen-Waubun

The Fertile Beltrami Falcons used an 8-0 run in the 2nd half and hot shooting from the floor to pull away from the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds 84-64.  The first half would see several lead changes and ties with both teams hitting several 3’s.  The Falcons would build a 10 point lead late in the 1st half but the Thunderbirds would come back with a 3 and free throws to cut the lead to 5 at the half 43-38.  Mahnomen Waubun would score first in the 2nd half to cut the lead to 3 but then the Falcons would go on an 8-0 run to build the lead to double figures and wouldnt look back from their cruising to the win.  Fertile Beltrami is now 6-1 while Mahnomen Waubun falls to 3-7.
