Erskine, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons improved to 8-1 on the season after they beat the Win E Mac Patriots on Friday night 77-63.

It was a back and forth affair early in the contest but the Fertile-Beltrami defense would allow only 22 first half points and their offense surged to make two separate runs in the first half of 10-2 and 18-7. Fertile-Beltrami would take a 40-22 lead into halftime. In the second half, the lead was insurmountable as  Win E Mac would chip the lead down to an 11 point deficit but would never be able to get any closer and would eventually fall 77-63.

Fertile-Beltrami improves to 8-1 on the season and will play in the Breakdown Crossover Classic in Perham on Saturday morning versus one of the top teams in the state in the Nevis Tigers.
