Fertile-Beltrami at Win-E-Mac

Recap

Erskine, MN –– Fertile-Beltrami was impatiently waiting to get onto the court for the first time in the 2026 season and took that agression out on the court after coming away with the season opening sweep (25-17, 25-11, 25-13).

In the first set, it was a back and forth affair including a 5-0 run by Win-E-Mac to get them back within 3 at 14-11 which was immediately answered by a 5-0 run by Fertile-Beltrami. It would get as close as 5 from that point, but Fertile-Beltrami was able to close it out thanks to 4 aces in the set from Bailey Iverson.

In the second set, Fertile-Beltrami exploded to a 7-2 lead, which included a 6-0 run. Win-E-Mac responded with an immediate 4-0 to get it within one, but it was all Falcons from there. The Falcons closed out on a 18-5 run which included two 5-0 runs in the process.

In set three, Fertile-Beltrami again started hot getting ahead 10-2. Win-E-Mac kept pace throughout the remainder of the set, but unfortunately too much damage was done early on as the Falcons were able to complete the sweep.
