Thief River Falls, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons Girls beat the Blackduck Drakes on Saturday morning 62-48 at the 10th Annual Northern Blast Tournament in Thief River Falls.

The Falcons were led by Stephanie Miller with 14 points and Tessa Opdahl off the bench added 13 points and 5 boards. And despite early foul trouble, Madison Stueness added 11 points and 6 rebounds.

The Blackduck Drakes were led by Kiah Dodd who went off with 14 points and 17 rebounds, Aunika Sundvall was also in double figures with 12 points, as was Marrissa Mills with 10 points.

Fertile-Beltrami is now 4-3 on the season and will play at East Grand Forks-Sacred Heart on Monday. (Gold 101.5 FM KRJM). Blackduck falls to 5-4 and will play at Win E Mac next Thursday.
