Fertile Beltrami tried to play the role of spoiler on Thursday, and held a 9 point lead in the first half over #3 seed Sacred Heart.  The Falcons had a one point lead at halftime, and after a couple swaps of the lead in the second half, Sacred Heart was able to hang on, eventually spreading the lead with free throws at the end, 56-44 over Fertile Beltrami, to advance in the 8A Girls Basketball tournament.
