The Park Christian Falcons overcame a nine point deficit in the second half to defeat the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons 62-56 to win the Pine to Prairie Conference championship Saturday afternoon at Win-E-Mac. Freshman Libby Suckert led Park Christian with 18 points and hit four 3 pointers to help lead the Falcons to the win. Park Christian was held scoreless for the first 5:21 of the second half and trailed 41-32. Park Christian would then go on a 20-5 run with Suckert hit some key three pointers for Park Christian. Fertile-Beltrami had defeated Park Christian 69-62 in their only regular season meeting on February 3rd. Annika Johnson added 10 points and Avery Aakre and Kaycee Endreson each sored 9 points for Park Christian as they improve to 18-5 overall. Kasia Wilson scored 18 points and Josie Iverson added 16 points for Fertile-Beltrami as they fall to 19-5 overall. The game was tied at 30-30 at halftime and the two teams combined for 16 three pointers in the game.
