Fertile-Beltrami vs. West Marshall

Red Lake Falls, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons hung onto a one run victory in a marathon game over the West Marshal Fusion 12-11 on Thursday to advance in the Section 8A Baseball Tournament.

The Falcons scored 7 runs in the top of the third inning to take a commanding 8-3 lead after three innings. West Marshall though however would never go away as they scored four in the 4th, one in the 5th and three in the 7th to really make things interesting thanks to a Wes Olson 3-run homer but the comeback effort came up short as Fertile-Beltrami hung onto win 12-11.
