The Fosston Greyhounds avenged an earlier loss to Bagley by defeating the Flyers 62-54 in Bagley on Tuesday night. The Greyhounds lost to the Flyers 68-46 back on December 1st but were able to pull off the road win on Tuesday night. Jack Sekely hit five 3 pointers and led Fosston with 21 points. Quniten Lundell and Darien Holzer each added 9 points for Fosston as the Greyhounds improve to 2-9 overall and 2-7 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Holzer was playing in his first game of the season for Fosston after coming back from a knee injury. Gavin Curfman scored 8 points and Noah Martinson 7 points for Fosston. Ethan Proulx led Bagley with 12 points as the Flyers fall to 8-7 overall and 2-6 in the conference. Drayden Thompson added 11 points and Isaiah Fox 10 points for Bagley. The Greyhounds shot 20 for 30 at the free throw line while the Flyers were 7 for 11 at the stripe. Fosston won the “B Squad game 52-47. The Greyhounds will return to action on Thursday, January 22nd when they travel to Climax/Fisher to face the Knights (Your Live Event). The Flyers will play their next game on Friday, January 23rd when they are at Red Lake to take on the Warriors.
