GBB Fosston at Bagley

Lexi Mahlen scored 21 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Fosston Greyhounds won 58-34 at Bagley on Tuesday night. It was the second straight game that Mahlen scored 21 points as she led the Greyhounds with 21 points on Monday in a win at Fertile-Beltrami. The Greyhounds never trailed in the game and took a 28-14 lead into halftime. Freshman Brielle Duppong hit four 3 pointers and scored 12 points for Fosston with Miley Hove pitching in with 11 points and 6 rebounds for Fosston. The Greyhounds improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. 8th Grader Mazie Hoie led Bagley with 14 points as the Flyers fall to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference. Kira Thompson scored 7 points and MaKalyn Hoie added 6 points for the Flyers. Bagley won the “B” Squad game (one half) over Fosston 18-13. The Greyhounds are off until Monday, December 9th when they travel to NCE/U-H to take on the Titans (96.7 FM). The Flyers return to action on Friday, December 6th when they travel to Littlefork-Big Falls to take on the Vikings as part of a doubleheader with the boys.
