Dakota Erickson caught a 59 yard touchdown pass from Carver Kroulik with 11:01 left in the fourth quarter and that proved to be the winning score in the 32-28 Clearbrook-Gonvick win over Fosston Friday night at Clearbrook-Gonvick. Jakob Rudie scored on runs of 37, 10 and 54 yards for Fosston as the Greyhounds fall to 4-3 on the season. Rudie carried the ball 37 times for 263 yards and three touchdowns for Fosston. Avery Ostenna scored two touchdowns for Clearbrook-Gonvick as the Bears improve to 5-2 overall. Both teams turned the ball over twice while Fosston had 12 penalties in the game. Two point conversions were big in the game with Clearbrook-Gonvick going 4 for 4 and Fosston going 2 for 4 on two point conversions. Both teams close out the regular season next Wednesday, October 15th with Fosston going to Hancock to battle the Owls (1480-AM/99.7 FM). The Bears will host Fertile-Beltrami next Wednesday (96.7 FM).
