Junior Lexi Mahlen scored her 1,000th career point as the Greyhounds picked up the 53-39 win at Crookston Monday night. Mahlen reached the milestone by hitting a 3 pointer in the second half. Mahlen led Fosston with 16 points with 15 of those points coming in the second half. Brielle Duppong hit four 3 pointers for Fosston and ended up with 12 points.  Teagan Duppong scored 9 points and Miley Hove added 8 points for Fosston as the Greyhounds improve to 11-5 overall. Chloe Boll led the Pirates with 12 points as they fall to 5-14 overall. Fosston won the “B” Squad game (1/2) 21-16. The Greyhounds return to action on Tuesday, January 28th when they travel to Cass Lake-Bena to face the Panthers.
