VB Fosston at Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal

The Fosston Greyhounds swept the NCE/U-H Titans 3-0 in volleyball action Monday night in Ulen. Sofia Rue led the Greyhounds with 12 kills as Fosston improved to 9-10 overall and 4-3 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Lexi Mahlen added 10 kills and Teagan Duppong 7 kills for Fosston. Claire Brambrink led NCE/U-H with 6 kills as the Titans fall to 2-19 overall and 1-6 in the conference. Emerson Engen added 5 kills and Brenna Olson and Bella Madson each had 4 kills for NCE/U-H. The Greyhounds fell behind 4-0 in the first set but came back to win 25-21. Taylinn Spicer had 3 service aces for Fosston with Teagan Duppong adding two aces at the line for Fosston. Fosston won the “B” Squad match 2-0 and the Greyhounds also won the “C” Squad match 2-0. The Greyhounds will return to action on Tuesday, October 8th when they host the Lake park-Audubon Raiders on Parents Night for Fosston (1480-AM/99.7 FM). The Titans also return to action on Tuesday, October 8th when they host the Bagley Flyers.
