Fosston at Northern Freeze

Brielle Duppong made two free throws with 8 seconds left to lift the Greyhounds to a 60-59 win against the Northern Freeze at Karlstad. The two free throws gave Fosston their first lead since they led 4-2. Duppong led Fosston with 17 points and 14 rebounds as the Greyhounds evened their overall record at 1-1. Miley Hove and Hannah Fonder each added 14 points for Fosston with Fonder hitting four thee pointers in the game. Taylor Knutson led the Freeze with 25 points as they fall to 0-2 overall. Faith Efta added 14 points and Shylo Edin 12 points for the Freeze with Edin hitting four three pointers before fouling out with 1:16 left in the game. The Greyhounds trailed 29-28 at halftime after ending the first half on an 11-0 run. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 56-30. The Greyhounds return to action on Monday, December 1st when they travel to Fertile-Beltrami with the Northern Freeze off until December 9th when they host the Roseau Rams.
