The Fosston Greyhounds played their first game since December 8th and improved to 5-0 with the 56-36 win at Oklee on Monday night. Brynlea Mahlen hit the only two three pointers in the game and led Fosston with 18 points. Kinsley Duppong added 14 points for the Greyhounds as she was 8 of 9 at the free throw line. Lexi Mahlen and Katelyn Vesledahl each scored 8 points for Fosston. Shawna Majeres led the Mustangs with 10 points as RLCC falls to 2-6 overall. Paige Olson and Marissa Thomas each pitched in with 8 points for Red Lake County Central. The Greyhounds led 29-18 at halftime and trailed only once in the game at 2-1. Fosston won the “B” Squad game over RLCC 21-17. The Greyhounds are off until January 3rd when they host the Park Christian Falcons. The Mustangs will play their next game on Thursday, December 22nd when they host Warren-Alvarado-Oslo in Plummer.
