The Fosston Greyhounds used a 23-4 run in the first half to help them to the 64-49 win at Red Lake Falls on Friday night. Brynlea Mahlen scored Fosston’s first 15 points and ended up leading the Greyhounds with 22 points. Lexi Mahlen added 17 points and 8 rebounds for Fosston as the Greyhounds won their twelfth straight game and improved to 23-1 overall. Vanessa Johnson pitched in with 9 points for Fosston. Shandi Nelson led Red Lake Falls with 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Eagles fall to 4-18 overall. Jordan Wieland added 12 points for Red Lake Falls. The Greyhounds led 37-19 at halftime and never trailed in the game. Fosston will play Park Christian in the Pine to Prairie Conference Championship game Saturday in Ada (106.5 FM, 101.5 FM, 96.7 FM and Your Live Event).
