The Fosston Greyhounds recorded 12 service aces as they won in straight sets Thursday night at Win-E-Mac. Seven Fosston players recorded at least one ace at the line as they improve to 6-7 overall and 2-3 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Lexi Mahlen led Fosston with 13 kills with Teagan Duppong and Sofia Rue each adding 7 kills for the Greyhounds. Destiny Molstad led Win-E-Mac with 11 kills as the Patriots fall to 0-12 overall and 0-4 in the conference. Lauren Kaupang added 8 kills and Abigail Sauer 4 kills for Win-E-Mac. Paige Breitbach had 3 service aces for Win-E-Mac. Fosston won the “B” Squad match 2-0 and the Greyhounds also won the “C” Squad match 2-0. The Greyhounds are off until Thursday, October 3rd when they travel to Bagley (1480-AM/99.7 FM). Win-E-Mac will be playing at the Barnesville Tournament on Saturday, September 28th and will be in a pool of teams including New York Mills, Breckenridge and Fertile-Beltrami..
