Braylon Hamre struck out 17 Fosston batters as the Patriots shutout the Greyhounds 5-0 at Win-E-Mac. The Patriots scored one run in the third inning and scored four runs in the fifth inning as they improve to 8-3 overall. Nick Schow went 3 for 4 at the plate for the Patriots with Braylon Hamre and Kolton Schow each adding two hits for Win-E-Mac. Will Christen had two hits for Fosston as the Greyhounds fall to 7-5 overall. The Greyhounds played earlier in the day at Bemidji State and defeated Hill City/Northland (Remer) 10-3. Both teams play on Friday, May 9th with Fosston hosting Crookston and Win-E-Mac travelling to Lake Park-Audubon.
