Brynlea Mahlen led Fosston with 21 points as the Greyhounds defeated Badger/Greenbush-Middle River 60-48 at UMC in Crookston. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 6-0 lead and never trailed as they improve to 17-1 overall. Lexi Mahlen added 12 points and 7 rebounds for Fosston with Vanessa Johnson adding 11 points for the Greyhounds. Kenzie Dahl led B/G-MR with 15 points as the Gators fall to 9-6 overall. It was a rematch of the Section 8A championship game played last March in Thief River Falls. The Greyhounds were coming off a 48-39 win at Climax/Fisher on Friday night.
