Bryer Strem scored five touchdowns as Fertile-Beltrami cruised to a 56-0 win over Fosston in the Section 6 Nine-Man championship game at the Fargodome. It is the fifth straight Section championship for the Falcons and their second straight win over Fosston in the Section championship game. Strem scored on runs of 39 and 73 yards and caught touchdown passes of 49, 4 and15 yards from Gavin Aakhus. Caleb Sather, Creed Tollefson and Julian Ystenes each scored single touchdowns for the Falcons as they improve to 7-3 overall. The Falcons led 14-0 after the first quarter, 44-0 at halftime and 56-0 after the third quarter. The Greyhounds end their season with an overall record of 7-4. The Greyhounds were held to four first downs in the game. The Falcons won their Section 6 Nine-Man playoff games by a combined score of 119-0. The Falcons shutout Blackduck 63-0 in the semifinals last Saturday. The Falcons defeated Fosston 20-14 in their regular season matchup at Fosston on September 26th.
