Free Throws and 3 point shooting made the difference as the Fosston Greyhounds defeated the Kittson County Central Bearcats 56-54 in overtime at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls. The Greyhounds hit five 3 pointers compared to none for the Bearcats and Fosston scored their last four points in overtime at the free throw line. Lexi Mahlen led Fosston with 17 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out of the game late in overtime. Brynlea Mahlen hit four three pointers and scored 15 points for the Greyhounds as they improve to 13-1 overall. Calli Burrack and Tessa Manecke each added 8 points for Fosston. It was a very close game throughout with neither team holding a lead of more than five points. Kaydence White and Greta Kuznia each scored 15 points for the Bearcats as they fall to 8-3 overall. Fosston turned the ball over 25 times while the Bearcats committed 28 turnovers.
