The Fosston Greyhounds used a 17-0 run in the first half to help lead them to the 56-46 win at Ulen on Monday night. Lexi Mahlen scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as Fosston won their third straight game and improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Brielle Duppong hit three 3 pointers and scored 9 points for the Greyhounds. Teagan Duppong and Alexis Illies each added 5 points for Fosston. Brenna Olson led the Titans with 22 points and 9 rebounds as they fall to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference. Jada Nelson added 7 points and 5 rebounds for NCE/U-H. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 28-21 (one half). The Greyhounds will return to action on Tuesday, December 10th when they travel to Thief River Falls (1480-AM/99.7 FM). NCE/U-H is off until Friday, December 13th when they host East Grand Forks Sacred Heart at Twin Valley.
