The Red Lake County Rebels never trailed as they defeated the Fosston Greyhounds 75-47 in the Section 8A Quarterfinals at Thief River Falls. The Rebels hit eleven 3 pointers and were led by Will Gieseke with 22 points. Connor Duden hit four 3 pointers and added 16 points for Red Lake County. The Rebels led 41-19 at halftime as they improve to 27-2 overall and have won 24 of their last 25 games. Mitchell Mulry and Will Christen each scored 10 points for Fosston as the Greyhounds end their season at 13-14 overall. Red Lake County will face Stephen-Argyle in the Section 8A Semifinals on Wednesday, March 12th (6:00 pm on 96.7 FM & YLE). The Rebels defeated the Storm twice during the regular season (87-65 and 90-70). Stephen-Argyle takes a 12 game winning streak into their game Wednesday against Red Lake County. The Greyhounds graduate four seniors with Will Christen, Dawson Bailie, Ryne Duppong and Kelton Gray each playing their final game for the Greyhounds on Saturday.
