Reegan Mortimer connected for six 3 pointers as the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies defeated the Fosston Greyhounds 61-30 in the Section 8A Quarterfinals at Thief River Falls. Mortimer ended up leading the Ponies with 22 points as Warren-Alvarado-Oslo improved to 22-5 overall and picked up their ninth win in their last ten games. Macey Boe added 14 points and Annie Peterson 12 points for the Ponies. Brielle Duppong led the Greyhounds with 12 points as they end their season at 16-12. The Ponies outscored the Greyhounds 32-13  in the second half. It was the second win for the Ponies over the Greyhounds with Warren-Alvarado-Oslo winning 57-31 on February 20th in Warren. The Ponies will face the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs in the semifinals on Tuesday, March 4th in Thief River Falls (96.7 FM, 101.5 FM & YLE)
