GBB Thompson 65, Four Winds-Minnewaukan 44

Thompson’s girls made 12 three-point baskets on their way to a 65-44 victory over Four Winds-Minnewaukan Thursday night in Thompson.

Jordyn Tozer and Addison Sage each made 4 threes for the Tommies, with Kya Hurst making 3 and Andie Schwab one basket from outside the arc.

Thompson never trailed in the game as they improved to 11-4 overall and 3-3 in Class A Region 2.  Four Winds-Minnewaukan is now 5-11 overall and 1-4 in Region 2.

Sage had 20 points to lead Thompson, with Hurst scoring 15 and Tozer 12 for the Tommies.

Freshman Suri Gourd led the Lady Indians with 18 points.

Thompson’s next game is Monday night at home against East Grand Forks; Four Winds-Minnewaukan travels to Grafton on Tuesday.
