GBB Northome-Kelliher 89, Climax-Fisher 47

Kate Thayer scored 33 points and Kylee Binkley 29 to lead Northome-Kelliher to a 89-47 victory over Climax-Fisher Monday afternoon in Fisher.

Alli Lundin added 14 points as the Mustangs raced to their tenth consecutive win and improved to 20-3 on the season.

7th-grader Brooklyn Hoffman scored 30 points to lead Climax-Fisher (7-17) with Lucy Paulsrud adding 13 for the Knights.

Northome-Kelliher forced 21 turnovers, while allowing only 9 themselves.  The Mustangs had the rebounding edge 41-31.  Climax-Fisher was 5 of 10 shooting free throws, while Northome-Kelliher made just one of 7.

The Climax-Fisher girls are off until Thursday night, when they travel to Sacred Heart.  Northome-Kelliher hosts Hill City/Northland-Remer on Tuesday.
