Goodridge-Grygla at Clearbrook-Gonvick

Recap

Chargers were in command from the jump, including obtaining a free point and the serve in the opening set after Clearbrook-Gonvick elected to take first serve but were penalized a point for a uniform violation for their special pink jerseys, making it 1-0 before the match even began.

This was simply a sign of things to come for the evening as the Chargers exploded in the first set and dominated 25-13 thanks in large part to an outstanding effort from Torii Anderson who was exceptional throughout the evening, ultimately ended the match 2nd on the team with 9 kills, leading the team with 5 Ace’s, and collecting 2 blocks as well en-route to a clean 3 sets to none sweep of the Bears.

The next 2 sets were slightly closer but only just, both ending 25-15 and the 3rd set began 9-0 in favor of Goodridge-Grygla and took a tremendous Bears effort just to keep it as close as it was by the end. The Chargers collect their 15th victory of the season and continue to stay dominant on the road in 2026.
